We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as an Undergraduate Project Support Officer within the Undergraduate Medical Education Department at Lincoln Hospital.

**Main Duties of the job**:
To co-ordinate, organise and provide administrative support for the provision of undergraduate medical education within the Trust. The 6 month fixed term, UGME Project Support Officer works within the UGME Team, and supports the Project Manager, Undergraduate Medical Education Manager, Director of Medical Education and the Team to deliver the requirements of the New Curriculum, other Medical School and Centre related requirements and link between UoL and UGME.

The post-holder will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders and motivating teams to support project plans with clear outcomes.

The post-holder will work closely with project manager and leads to monitor deliverables. The post-holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring projects and escalating issues and risks.

The post-holder will need the ability to work flexibly to influence and persuade a range of individuals, and large groups. To support strong and trustful relationships, to escalate issues and risks, conflicts, prioritise work appropriately, and maintain communication in supporting the delivery the overall project.

This role will require operational working at all Trust sites.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Person Specification

**Qualification**:
Essential Criteria
- RSA III or equivalent word-processing experience
- GCSE, level C or above, in English or equivalent

Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of undergraduate medical education issues
- Awareness of national agenda in relation to medical education and training
- NVQ Level 3 Administration or equivalent experience

**Skills**:
Essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills

**Experience**:
Essential
- Previous administration experience
- Good level of Computer Literacy (MS Office)
- Experience of working in a team

Desirable
- Experience of working within medical education
- Experience in hospital, university or other educational environment

- Flexibility in working hours to meet the requirements of the post
- Ability to move and handle light furniture
