My client has a fantastic opportunity for a **COMPLIANCE OFFICER - o**ffered on a full-time, permanent basis, reporting to the Compliance Manager and Compliance team.

**Day to Day Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the Compliance Manager to ensure business is compliant with regulations
- Promoting a positive compliance culture
- Provide the business with compliance advice and recommendations
- Responsible for organisation of compliance records, ensuring all logs are kept up to date
- Assist with the Training & Competence Framework and Compliant Management Framework
- Assisting business to maintain compliance and adherence to policies and procedures, highlighting risks and areas of improvement to Compliance Manager as required
- Assisting other members of the Compliance Department
- Other duties commensurate with the position

**Knowledge & Experience Required**
- At least 2 years previous experience working in a Compliance role
- Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements (particularly CONC and DISP) pertaining to the sale of consumer finance and/or general insurance
- Knowledge of TCF and the NEW Consumer Duty is desirable
- A working understanding of regulatory frameworks, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them effectively
- Knowledge of data protection/GDPR would be highly desirable
- IT literate with the ability to organise and analyse high volumes of data
- Very organised with good time management and communication skills
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis, trend analysis and offer solutions to problems
- Self-motivated, ability to handle and prioritise own workload
- Ability to promote a positive compliance culture
