**Role: Service Coordinator**

**Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum**

**Location: Downpatrick**

**Contract/Hours: Fixed Term Contract until 28**th** February 2025, full-time (working 37 hours a week) Monday to Friday - Secondments will be considered.**

**A bit about the role**

Ballymote Family Project and Ballymote Sure Start are well established services in the Downpatrick Community, providing support to children and families covering the Southeastern Trust area.

The service offers a number of supports to Families referred from the South Eastern Trust Family Support Hub and South Eastern Trust Children's Services. We offer families advice and support, as well as offering parents the opportunity to develop their skills to carry out daily tasks in bringing up a family.

Please note that this role is based on-site, and you will need a car to be able to get to the service due to the remote location.

**How you'll help to create brighter futures**

We are looking for a driven and passionate Service Coordinator who'll manage and lead a team and work together to provide a wide range of services to children, young people, and families by:

- Managing the Family Support Service.
- Managing the Sure Start Service.
- Managing a small caseload of your own.
- Delivering group parenting programmes.
- Supervising the staff teams.

**Let's talk about you.**
- A degree in Social Work.
- Registration with NISCC.
- Experience of managing a community-based service for families and children.
- Experience of providing regular staff supervision.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience of planning, setting up and delivering group work programmes.
