We are looking for a bright, friendly, self motivated, responsible and reliable individual to join the reception team in this busy GP Surgery. The role is part-time at 25 hours per week delivered in 5 hour shifts across the week, but we require flexibility to schedule for morning or afternoon shifts and cover others whilst on leave.

Main Duties:
1. To provide positive, friendly and helpful customer service to our patients, both in person and on the telephone.

2. Book, confirm and cancel appointments and handle enquiries

3. Compose, print, mail and scan correspondence

4. Ensure the correct processing of administrative tasks

5. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.

6. Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs

7. Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

8. Support and promote Health and Safety practice at the surgery

9. Support and cover other staff members as necessary

Key Qualities:
Excellent telephone and inter-personal manner, Customer Facing Skills, Multi-tasking, Maintaining Inventory, Ability to work independently and within a team, Flexibility, Excellent Time Management and Organisational skills, the ability to demonstrate initiative and responsibility. Attention to detail, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Able to take personal responsibility and deliver a high quality standard of work.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.60-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
