Educational Support Facilitator
Term time only (38 weeks)
Full Time & Part Time positions available
The position of Educational Support Facilitator is a fulfilling opportunity, where you will assist and guide students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, disabilities, learning difficulties, or medical conditions, as well as those requiring support in ESOL, English, and Mathematics. Your role will be pivotal in helping them achieve their qualifications, course objectives, and, where applicable, the outcomes outlined in their education, health, and care plans (EHCP).
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to start a career in education, particularly for recent graduates aiming to become educators.
Prior experience is not mandatory; however, we seek candidates who can showcase their ability to take initiative, organize and prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively across various levels. Proficiency in administration and computer skills is essential to maintain high-quality documentation of student progress and to establish suitable SMART targets based on EHCP outcomes, agreed support plans, and coursework.
We also encourage you to be prepared to achieve a GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent with grades A*-C in English and Mathematics if you do not already possess these qualifications.
Subject to a cost of living review, successful candidates may be eligible for future salary adjustments.
