Our client is looking for an experienced Customer Services Floorwalker.

Carry out general reception and floorwalking duties for the Council in the Customer Services Centre dealing with customers face to face.

1. To operate the reception desk at the main Customer Services Centre.

2. To meet and greet visitors and to direct those visitors to the correct location within the Council.

3. To ensure that customers are dealt with correctly and promptly and passed to services areas for instance via the self-service phone

4. To record data on visitors

5. To provide support to the Customer Services Team Leader in the safe operation of the customer services area including Health and Safety

6. To ensure that corporate visitors are correct dealt with

7. To respect the confidential nature of the work and protect personal information in accordance with data protection regulations and policies in place.

8. To work in accordance with set policies and procedures

9. To act in accordance with the principles set out in the Employee Code of
Conduct and the Council’s Values, recognising the duty of all public sector employees to discharge public functions reasonably and according to the law.

Experience of working in an administrative role in a busy, customer focussed environment

Experience of providing advice and information to customers in an efficient and effective way.
