**What you’ll need?**
- Previous administration and coordination experience, ideally from a training background
- A skilled verbal and written communicator with experience of interacting with a variety of stakeholders
- Have prior experience of and an enjoyment of problem solving and process improvement, ideally with proven examples
- Strong Microsoft package skills, ideally with intermediate working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing packages
- Experience of managing supplier queries including invoice management
- Knowledge of and prior experience with data management and the legislation surrounding this i.e GDPR
- Good general standard of education with strong emphasis on numeracy and literacy
- Attention to detail and speed of thought to deliver quality within given timescales
- Proven ability and agility to manage a number of different tasks at any one time
- Very organised and approachable
- Self-starter, able to work on own initiative; proactive and autonomous, motivated by achievement
- Experience with learning management system (LMS), in particular Workday is desirable

**What you’ll be doing?**
- Administering and coordinating mandatory training for allocated function(s) and providing cover for other areas as required during holidays
- Manage annual training courses utilising internal and external training providers in Workday
- Act as a contact for third party training suppliers and provide support with any supplier reviews
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on L&D processes and procedures across the Organisation with particular focus on functional area (s).
- Taking responsibility for GDPR compliance in the Talent and Learning department including maintaining a regular data cleansing pattern and ensuring ongoing storage accuracy
- Maintaining and updating training records including sending out and filing certificates
- Work with alongside other team members to produce KPI’s and metrics as required e.g training completion
- Managing all invoicing relating to training including raising and receipting purchase orders, submitting accruals and challenging invoice accuracy
- Managing any administration relating to the use of the apprenticeship levy including adding apprentices to the digital account and creating reports
- Manage the training request process, ensuring policies and procedures are followed with relevant training contracts and administration is completed
- Support with facility management of the Training Centre including managing room bookings and travelling to site occasionally to support specific events.
- Updating the intranet as required
- Supporting with the co-ordination and administration of development programmes across the business (internal and external) including promoting forthcoming events, sending out joining instructions, LMS management and sending and co-ordinating the return of evaluations
- Organise and coordinate team events as required, e.g away days, seasonal celebrations
- Produce and coordinate new starter inductions where required
