**Permanent Role - Warwick Location - Full Time with Flexibility**

This is the time for action - we need to move at pace and reform our energy system - to deliver energy security, to tackle climate change and to protect our people.

Due to an internal move we are seeking a new addition to our Training and Competancy Team.

Joining this growing team of 4, you will assist with the planning organisation for company training requirements and competency management.
You’ll be dedicated to 2 business areas within our Electricity Transmission business area and assist with growing the business and supporting our new and existing colleagues development.

This role is based at our Warwick office which has free onsite parking, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.

Leveraging this hybrid working, this team currently work typically 1 day per week in the office, which is dependent on personal and business needs.

We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.

**About You**:
You’ll bring great organisational and administrative skills to our team with a strong attention to detail and an ability to work to tight timeframes when needed.

You’ll enjoy being given the freedom to use your own initiative and create new solutions and you’ll be working with lots of different stakeholders at different levels which you should be comfortable with.

Of course you’ll hopefully have a passion also for our journey to net zero and the important role National Grid is playing in enabling this across the UK.

**What You'll Do**:
You role will provide a contact point to ensure all employee, trainee and agency resource training requirements and scheduled according to plans.
You’ll support and validate data related to these activities and assist with coordinating and scheduling of all new starter plans ranging from trainee intakes to leadership requirements.
You’ll work with external and internal contacts, using your strong communication skills to share the latest information and support monthly reporting.
You’ll be the supportive colleague who ensures all new recruits and agency personnel are enrolled in mandatory training for their role.
Lastly, you’ll support shortlisting and assessment organisation for all training programme
