- Delivery of an accurate and reliable payroll service for all employees across our global business, including the entire expatriate employee population, ensuring all SLAs/KPIs are consistently met.
- Work collaboratively with Seadrill’s external payroll providers driving excellence in service performance
- To always put the employee / customer first in our delivery of excellent service
- Look for, and where possible, deliver continuous improvement in payroll and employee HR data processes, including increased automation of payroll data collection as well as the collation and submittal to the external payroll provider.
- Support the delivery of payroll-related projects. Providing expertise and experience to the ongoing initiative to standardise, where possible, the provision of payroll services in all Seadrill locations.
- Provide insight and performance data relating to compliance processes and payroll performance.
- Participate and ensure audit-level process checking to ensure legislative and company compliance.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders and employees to ensure that pay impacting issues are mitigated or where required manage the expectations and concerns of affected employees.
- Collaborate with the wider HR function to understand the business needs to deliver an effective service for our customers
- Liaise with colleagues in Finance and accounting function to provide a robust and audited payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant Sarbanes Oxley processes and assist in SOX reviews.
- Always act within the governance of high standards of compliance, ensuring the maintenance of accurate employee and HR records, in line with Data Protection legislation and company policies.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

**Essential**
- You have extensive experience in managing Payrolls, with demonstrable experience in international payroll and knowledge of best practices. Prior experience in either US/UK payrolls preferred.
- You have experience with working in complex multi country & expat payroll
- You are proficient in working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- You have prior experience/exposure in creating process documentation such as process maps & work instructions or equivalent.
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills
- You can prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines.
- You can effectively manage multiple tasks/projects
- Work effectively with management and employees at all levels
- Position requires a high degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

- You have prior experience in working the payroll function in the Oil & Gas industry
- You can speak/read additional languages - Spanish and/or Portuguese
- You have worked within a shared service environment
- You have experience of working with HR Information Systems and Shared Services tools such as Case Management, electronic document management systems. Oracle experience would be an advantage.
