**Hour of work**: Casual, predominately weekends & holiday periods

**Rate of Pay**: £11.66 per hour + Holiday pay

**Overview**:

This brand new attraction, which launched earlier this year and operates year-round, is seeking extraordinary individuals like you to join our team and ensure that every guest has an unforgettable experience.

As Ground Crew and Front of House, you'll play a key part in the customer journey, ensuring they are well looked after throughout their experience. You’ll be a happy and welcoming face as customers arrive, and bring great energy as you build excitement for your group’s abseil. You also be on the ground, guiding them back down to earth as they complete their descent - helping them disconnect from the rope safely as they take in what they’ve just accomplished.

You’ll be responsible for the kit up process, making sure every customer is equipped with a harness, helmet and gloves, ready to take on their adrenaline filled adventure Customers always wasn’t a memory of their day and you’ll also be taking photos throughout their experience for them to purchase afterwards and show off to their friends and family.

**Principle Responsibilities & Duties**
- To meet & greet abseilers in the Welcome Centre and provide a warm, courteous welcome to all customers.
- To check in participants through Ticketing Hub and Smartwaiver
- Direct abseilers as required by Duty Manager
- To assist in the kit up and de-kit of abseil participants.
- Greet customers as they reach the ground after their abseil and detach from the ropes
- To ensure disclaimers & waivers have been signed.
- To deal with extraordinary client requests in a helpful manner.
- To liaise with group organisers, where required, to ensure smooth running of events
- To provide assistance to the Duty Manager with on the day administrative tasks.

**Customer Service & Personal Attributes**
- Excellent customer service skills with proven customer service experience
- A good communicator who remains calm under pressure
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Be able to work on own initiative & as part of a team
- Energetic, flexible attitude to work.

**Expertise**
- Complete at least one abseil to familiarise yourself with the customer journey
- Understand full abseil process.
- An excellent awareness of Health and Safety and the ability to follow procedures.
- To be knowledgeable in PPE requirements and its use.
- To be proficient in all aspects of the Rescue process and be able to assist when required.
- Be fully conversant with all abseil documentation.
- Ensure familiarity with the booking system and Smartwaiver.
- Be prepared to seek advice where necessary.

**Essential**
- An in-date, current DBS check. _(If you do not hold this then on completion of the training course, one will need to be obtained)_

**Desirable**
- First Aid training
- Previous experience fitting harnesses and the use of PPE.

**Selection Process & Training**

Training Course information:
We will provide training that is unique to the abseil. Pre-training learning packs will be sent out in advance of training for home learning.

All areas of the abseil and its delivery will be taught, and you must be at competent standard at the end of training for the W&S technical advisor’s sign off.

Training will take place over the week of **19th-23rd June 2023.**

The dates are the compulsory training for which you must be available. Training is paid at our training rate of £9.50/hour - this is paid via payroll and only upon successful completion of the training and assessment.
