Sales Consultant - Internal
**Salary**: £25,000 Pa / OTE £34,000
Hours: 8:00 - 4.30 (Mon-Thursday ) [30minutes for lunch] / 8:00-13:30 (Fri) - (37.5 hours per week)
About Prestige Medical
Prestige Medical has more than 30 years’ experience in the development and manufacture of advanced sterilisation equipment. With a new generation of integrated decontamination solutions, we take infection control to the next level.
Our autoclaves and washer-disinfectors are developed and manufactured to ensure the safety of staff, patients, instruments and working environments. Easy to use, reliable and cost-effective, our autoclaves include a host of new features to help simplify and streamline the day-to-day sterilisation of re-usable instruments.
The Role
We are looking for a competitive Sales consultant to help customers identify and purchase consumable products either on the website or directly. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.
Reporting into the Sales Manager, the Sales consultant will be a proactive part of the sales team, ensuring that all outstanding orders are processed on the system, manage the consumable sales in terms of marketing our range of consumables to our customer base and new business development.
The role would also involve working with the team and providing support in terms of cold calls and responding to customer objections.
This is a role that offers good career progression and forms an integral part of Prestige Medical growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Ascertain customers’ needs and provide solutions
- Recommend items that match customer needs
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Keep up to date with product information
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Cold call customers and offer products and services
- Manage and ensure order are put on the system in a timely manner
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to stimulate growth in sales
- Demonstrate working experience and success in a Sales consultation role
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Sales role
- Working effectively with minimum supervision
- Experience with Microsoft platforms, including Microsoft Word and Excel
