An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Administrator to join a rapidly growing organisation working in the Private Healthcare sector based in Stockport, Manchester.

We provide services to organisations across the whole of the UK, supporting their clients and employees with occupational health concerns, providing a wide range of assessments and treatment to ensure people who have been injured or are suffering from ill-health are able to return to work and function.

To perform well within this role you will have a proven track record of excellent administrative abilities, preferably experience of working as part of a team and be good at building relationships with external stakeholders. Experience of working in an occupational health setting would be a bonus but not essential.

**About the role**:
You will work in the Occupational Health business unit, reporting into the Operations co-ordinator and working as part of the Operational Administration Team, who all work together to provide administrative support to both our in-house and external network of occupational health case managers. You will be primarily based in our on-site clinic in central Cardiff, supporting one nurse with the administration tasks involved in the delivery of vaccinations and immunisations.

**About you**:
You may come from a healthcare background, or simply have an interest in the sector. You will probably have some administration experience, but most of all you will be dedicated to giving a high-quality service to our customers and clients - and be willing to learn new skills, take on different tasks and work with a flexible approach.

**What does your day look like?**

No two days will be the same, and you will also gain skills over time to support the other business units, learning more about the business as you grow with the team. But as a taster:

- Arranging assessments with clients via the telephone/conduct booking calls with clients
- For each incoming referral read and understand the service that is needed, the referral purpose and the specific contractual customer requirements
- Working onsite to manage clinics and all associated processes
- Adding services / orders to relevant systems
- Recruit an appropriate supplier to deliver the referral in the required timeframes
- Send referral to the supplier using the correct protocol
- Manage the referral throughout the programme / assessment to meet customer requirements
- Case note every action completed on a referral on the relevant system
- Quality check all incoming reports from an administrative perspective
- Request Clinical assistance for any clinical quality requirements
- Complete all required Management Information on relevant systems
- Reconcile supplier invoices against service requested
- Create and send customer invoices on receipt of supplier invoices
- Finalise and close cases

- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) including an excellent telephone manner

- Enthusiastic and positive attitude to work and influential ability to support the wider business
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads; able to plan and manage own workload prioritising tasks to meet needs as required
- Ability to work independently through own initiative
- Experience with Microsoft office packages e.g. word, excel and outlook and excellent IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages
