About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team as a Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding environment, providing supervision to Occupational Therapy staff and managing the daily delivery of the Occupational Therapy service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver holistic assessments and interventions to optimize function and reduce risk for older people experiencing mental health needs.
  • Work closely with other professions in the team to develop and implement service strategies.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapists and provide support to other members of the multi-professional team.
  • Engage with service development initiatives and contribute to the shaping of our service strategy.

Requirements
  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Professional Registration
  • Experience of working in the NHS
  • Practice Educator training
  • Significant post-graduate experience
  • Managing a complex case load
  • Team Leadership and people management
  • Inter-professional and multi-agency working
  • Autonomous and flexible practitioner
  • Understanding of audit, quality improvement, value-based healthcare, and research
