Our client are recruiting for a HR Officer.

Responsibilities include assisting the Head of HR with:

- Managing investigations, disciplinary, capability and grievance matters
- Working closely with managers, providing guidance on policies & procedures, absence & performance management and employment law
- Overseeing the appointments procedure when recruiting all staff
- Maintenance of the School’s HR administration systems, processes & files
- Developing HR policies and procedures to ensure fair management of staff
- Support and management of the HR team
- Design, co-ordination and evaluation of training
- Setting up and maintaining training administration systems
- All matters related to complaints
- All matters related to data protection, including GDPR

About you:
You will have a strong HR background and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of HR best practice.

You will have a recognised HR qualification or have substantial experience working at a similar level, with a thorough knowledge of employment law, recruitment and HR policies & procedures.

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have excellent ICT skills, numeracy, and the ability to manage and prioritise a varied work load.
