The Role

The Customer Engagement team’s mission is to empower Clients and Agencies with the knowledge of the (JCDecaux) Public Screen and to help them succeed. The team drives JCDecaux growth by adopting a consultative approach with key decision-makers and by fostering a culture of true collaboration that helps customers maximise the impact of the Public screen in their media mix. The team has a clear vision to grow and develop relationships by building our external networks, influencing industry ‘influencers’ to improve consideration of OOH, responding to key industry, and driving demand of the Public Screen, including across Programmatic.

To create real value for clients through the power of the public screen: listen to customers questions, needs and business objectives, and demonstrate to them that OOH is a trusted and responsible channel choice that answers those questions, meeting their needs. Educate customers to give them the knowledge to confidently use OOH, knowing it is a trusted media channel. Understand and eulogise on the priming effect on other channels OOH has and understand the role that OOH has to play in the cookie-less future. Choose to care about the success of our clients, taking a test and learn approach to allow clients to fully trust in our media.

Applies knowledge and experience of Out of Home, Digital Out of Home and the wider media landscape to help the team respond to market trends and key industry topics, ultimately helping us to engage key stakeholders and drive demand and consideration into our medium.

What you'll be doing

Impact - Omnicom
- Respond to live briefs and generate demand for OOH across OMD, MGOMD, PHD and Hearts & Science.
- Establish a knowledge-share programme across the agency holding group for Programmatic, making new connections and sourcing new leads
- Focus on targeted business development clients for Programmatic with key stakeholders (The Trade Desk and Talon), driving demand in these areas with mínimal canibilisation of existing OOH revenue
- Deliver test & learn meausrement studies to demonstrate OOH’s effectiveness around key planning ctieria such as location and real-word data triggers
- Engage the agencies around 5 key pillars; knowledge, effectivnesss, tech & data, product and sustainbility
- Work with the Head of Agencies to respond to recent all-agency publisher days (i..e MGOMD Frankly) and deliver best in class thought-leadership on the role of OOH within the media mix.
- Where required, lead conversations with clients across this “patch”, taking guidance from where agencies are asking for our support and where we can add real value to meda and business challenges.

Impact - Digital Agencies Outside London
- Identify digital-first, non
- networked agencies outside of London to engage with our PrOOH proposition. These may include: Fanatic, Proctor + Stevenson, Reading Room, Mentor, true but the list is not exhaustive.
- Agree an approach with our Head of Programmatic to drive interest and ultimately new revenue for JCDecaux
- At the end of the 6 months period, produce a 2023 forecast and SWOT for these digital agencies, helping JCDecaux to understand how much growth potential there is in this space and what barrieres we need to overcome

A little bit about you

Experience & Capabilities
- A proven track record in an OOH or other media planning or trading environment would be desireable
- Ability to understand wider industry trends and interpret media briefs to extract relevant information, and respond succinctly and relevantly.
- Computer confident. Advanced level of Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Experience of CRM systems. Ability to learn new technology and IT packages.
- Time management and organisation skills essential. Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads. Be able to work to short deadlines with effective expectation management.
- Articulate and literate, persuasive, Highly numerate
