**Time to start a career that gives you that feel good factor and banishes those Monday blues for good** If you're passionate about making a difference, then we have a great opportunity for you
We have an exciting opportunity for outgoing, active and enthusiastic individuals to join a new service in Riddrie, supporting two brothers in their own home on permanent basis as a Support Practitioner. We have up to 39 hour contracts available.
Although experience is not essential as we provide full training it would be desirable. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and SSSC yearly registration fees too
**The Role**
As a Support Practitioner, you'll support and assist the two gentlemen with Autism in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. We're also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative when supporting with their hobbies which include Celtic Football Team, going out for walks, watching their favourite daytime programmes, Disney, playing pranks and having a laugh.
This role will include a mix of 2:1 and lone working.
It would be great if you have a full UK, manual driving licence as the gentlemen we support have their own car but this isn’t a deal breaker
**What we'll need you to bring;**
- Good, clear communication skills (both verbal and written)
- A caring attitude
- Respect for boundaries and people's homes
- A positive approach to learning
- An understanding of the importance of routines and following guidelines
- Confidence in the use of computers
**The people we support have barriers to their communication, so it's essential that you have an excellent grasp of the English language.**
**Shift Patterns**
Our dedicated team are passionate about providing tailored care to support the needs of the people we support. This is a 24/7 service and will include early mornings, days, evening and waking nights. Shift patterns may change until the gents are fully settled with their new team.
You will be paid an additional £20 per night for every waking night shift you complete.
**Have any questions? **If you'd like to find out more, please contact** Susan Morrison on 07790929555.
