Trigonos provides the perfect setting for workshops, training, wellbeing retreats, art, tai chi, holiday groups and more. We are based in an 18 acre estate in a quiet Snowdonia valley, bordering a lake within a superb mountain landscape that looks up to the west face of Snowdon. With a welcoming atmosphere, comfortable residential accommodation for up to 32 guests, a range of pleasant workrooms and plenty of refreshing outdoor space, Trigonos is a place that gives our guests and visitors the freedom to access our facilities, whilst the team provide unobtrusive, but very effective, support as and when it is required.

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Trigonos team, based in Nantlle, Gwynedd. We are looking for additional member of our Land and Maintenance Team, for an immediate start.

Tasks include;
- To carry out general maintenance within own skillset, both internally and externally, under the guidance of the Biodynamic Market Garden Manager, seeking advice from other colleagues as to products to use, methods and sourcing materials.
- To carry out painting and repairs of the property (including outbuildings), both internally and externally
- To emsembe and construct furniture across the site as required
- To assist the Biodynamic Land Manager in maintaining the aesthetic of the gardens and landscape of the site to a high standard
- To assist in production of biodynamic produce to be used by the retreat and sold to the general public - this may include attendance to local markets on a weekend on a rota basis
- Occasional weekend work will be required to take care of animals in the event of other team members being unavailable
- Using land based machinery, such as a Brush Cutter - training will be provided
- To work as part of a team and communicate and collaborate with other staff on the site

Trigonos has a successful history of providing warmth and high quality hospitality for a range of activities and courses. The 20 bedroom facility includes meeting rooms, workshop spaces and beautiful grounds. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the Team to ensure that all guests continue to receive high quality services, and that Trigonos business remains aligned to the vision and values of Trigonos and Ruskin Mill Trust.

As Trigonos is part of Ruskin Mill Trust, the successful applicant will also be expected to embrace, articulate and work with the Trust’s objectives, vision, values and purpose

What we are looking for team member who are/have;
- Experience of general maintenance is essential
- Experience of working in a similar, physically demanding role, both indoors and outdoors is essential
- Ability to demonstrate openness and an eagerness to complete projects instructed at short notice
- A willingness to engage in training to increase knowledge in biodynamic agriculture and ecology is essential - training will be provided

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.60-£15.55 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
