About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ranger to join our team at the National Trust. As a Ranger, you will play a vital role in protecting and preserving the natural beauty of our landscapes and coastlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver practical tasks to build and maintain footpaths and access infrastructure in Eryri, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and guidance.
  • Work closely with a team of rangers and volunteers to contribute to our ambitious footpath maintenance programme.
  • Manage land, access, and conservation, working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including farm tenants, volunteers, and the local community, using Welsh language skills.
  • Use machinery and equipment, with relevant certificates, to support the delivery of the role.
Requirements
  • Practical experience in conservation work, protecting and improving habitats and landscapes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, using Welsh language skills.
  • Experience in managing land, access, and conservation, working outdoors.
  • Ability to use machinery and equipment, with relevant certificates.
  • Full UK driving licence.
