Front Desk and Office Administrator

**Job Title: Front Desk and Office Administrator (Temporary)**
**Division: Weir Minerals**
**Location: Onsite, Todmorden**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage incoming telephone calls from external and internal callers promptly and courteously. Provide information, take messages, pass on enquiries and requests to relevant departments.
- Provide a friendly welcome to visitors and employees, respond to enquiries courteously and accurately, ensure safety is prioritised, issue badges, escort visitors to meeting rooms as required.
- Inform colleagues of key messages via a site tannoy system.
- Monitor and replenish stationery and other office consumables. Order office furniture as requested.
- Process incoming and outgoing post and parcels. Book couriers as requested and keep necessary records.
- Maintain meeting and conference rooms to ensure they are tidy, ready for meetings and supplied with refreshments. Organise refreshments and catering as required.
- Book taxis and hire cars per policy, maintain records and process invoices.
- Assist with administering company expense claims.
- Upkeep of office notice boards.

- This is not an exhaustive list and the post holder may be asked to deliver a range of administrative tasks commensurate with the role.
**JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Previous experience in a reception / switchboard environment (use of MS Teams telephone system is desirable) with an understanding of the importance of being well-presented and friendly.
- Previous administrative experience and able to demonstrate good organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Minimum education to GCSE level, preferably including English and Maths.
- Be comfortable working as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to learn quickly and build meaningful relationships.
- Have a passion and natural flair for delivering an outstanding level of customer service and dealing with a wide variety of people.
- Good computer/technology skills.
- Be a natural problem solver.
- Prepared to go the extra mile.
**COMPENSATION**:
- 37 Hours based on site
- 25 Days holiday plus 8 statutory days
- Pension Scheme, 4% with 6% Weir Contributions, 6% with 9% Weir Contributions & 8% with 12% Weir Contributions
