We have a vacancy in the admin support office of the WRBS service at Brighton & Hove City Council.

The department encompasses Welfare, Benefits, Council Tax and internal finance teams including Payroll. We are looking for an experienced admin support officer to join this small team to support the operational needs of this large and diverse service.

**About the role**:
The WRBS (Welfare, Revenues & Business Support) operational support team manage the communications received from customers and prioritise it by impact to ensure it reaches staff in a timely and secure manner. They also manage stock control and the general flow of information coming into the department in line with data protection and audit compliance.

The main areas of responsibility are:

- Handling post and information securely, ensuring it reaches the intended recipient
- Scanning and indexing all the incoming correspondence and documents
- Purchasing of goods and services for WRBS teams
- Providing first line operational support in relation to Revenues & Benefits office administration.

**Additional information**:
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time.
