Opportunity for a UK based sales professional with a high level of experience in engaging with Government bodies in the Middle East.
- Contribute to the growth of a company looking to use technology as a catalyst for greater environmental sustainability and productivity in the global agricultural sector.

**KEY SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Demonstrable track record selling to, and building long-term relationships with, Government and Public Sector bodies in the Middle-East.
- Exposure to Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (PaaS and IaaS) related products and services.
- High level of proficiency in both English & Arabic.
- UK based but able to take on a significant level of overseas travel (circa 40%).
- NICE TO HAVE; any understanding of the agricultural or food sector - although this is by no means a requirement

**OVERVIEW**:
This AgriTech company is using complex Artificial Intelligence and Big Data methodologies to help farmers operate more sustainably, profitably and productively. They have a particular focus on environmental sustainability and helping farmers to cut downon the use of harmful chemicals and protect their assets from various naturally occurring perils.

Having secured funding from both VC and European Grant avenues, they are growing rapidly and looking to make a positive impact on the global AgriFood market. The Middle East in particular is a region of high potential, with significant funding being pouredinto alternative and technology driven farming methods in that part of the world.

Much of this is driven by Government and Public Sector authorities in countries such as UAE and Saudi Arabia; therefore, to spearhead growth in this region, a senior level sales individual is required with in depth knowledge of the dynamics of the MiddleEast market, and in particular with experience doing business with Government bodies.

Exposure to enterprise level tech solutions and services will also be required, specifically the selling of PaaS and IaaS based solutions.

Whilst any knowledge of the AgriFood sector would be a bonus, this would be considered a secondary concern - sector knowledge can be built up within the role, and this is a post that could give somebody the opportunity to utilise their skills in a companyand sector that is looking to make a positive impact on our food systems and climate
