Airline Component Services is a fast growing SME based in Braintree, Essex operating within the aviation sector. We provide goods and services to both UK and overseas customers focusing primarily on the supply & repair cycle management of rotable flying controls & structural components.

**What we’re looking for**:
A Customer Service Executive with 2+ years of office experience in the customer service sector.

Required:

- Attention to detail is a crucial part of the role
- Motivated and proactive
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised, able to manage own workload to meet deadlines
- Works well under pressure
- Great team player
- Can work well independently
- Ability to learn bespoke computer system and understand technical information
- Experience with Microsoft packages
- GCSE’s level Math & English (or alts)
- Flexible with regards to working hours
- Willing to attend trade shows and occasional visits at customer premises (UK and Overseas)

Preferred but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided:

- Knowledge of/ interest in the aviation industry
- Account manager experience

**Job description**:
The role of customer service Executive includes:

- Providing technical information and support to customers in relation to our products
- Provision of quotes and negotiating with customers regarding pricing
- Processing sales orders and following up on the sale to completion
- Liaising with other internal departments to resolve issues
- Developing relationships with customers and suppliers
- Working with the sales team to maximise sales opportunities
- Assisting in other departments as required

The usual working hours are Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm, based at our office in Braintree.

Following full training, team members are included on the ‘out of hours’ roster, this is currently:

- one late shift a week (finish at 8pm) AND
- one in four weekends (4 hours each day)

There is some room for flexibility on the actual times worked and out of hours working is paid at the overtime rate. These shifts are currently being worked from the employees own home.
