**Customer Service Assistant Role**
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will engage in a variety of office-based tasks and field-based interactions with customers and clients. Here's a detailed overview of your day-to-day duties and responsibilities:
**Customer Service Assistant Responsibilities**:
- **Engaging Customers and Promoting Products/Services**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, engaging them in meaningful conversations about our products and services.
- Promote client offerings and educate customers on key features, benefits, and promotions to drive sales and enhance brand awareness.
- **Maintaining Strong Product Knowledge**:
- Continuously update and maintain strong product knowledge to effectively present and demonstrate products to customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to provide informed recommendations and solutions to customers.
- **Delivering Presentations and Representing Clients**:
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations in a confident, charismatic, and professional manner to captivate the audience's attention and generate interest in client offerings.
- Represent clients at promotional activities to showcase products and services and build brand credibility.
- **Field-Based Customer and Client Meetings**:
- Participate in field-based customer and client meetings to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and address inquiries or concerns.
- Build strong relationships with customers and clients through effective communication and personalised interactions.
- **Learning New Skills and Techniques**:
- Embrace opportunities for learning and development to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in customer service and sales techniques.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to share knowledge and insights with colleagues.
- **Handling All Aspects of Customer Acquisitions**:
- Take ownership of the customer acquisition process from start to finish, including prospecting, lead generation, follow-up, and closing sales.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve collective goals and deliver exceptional results in customer acquisition and retention.
**Your Background**
Customer service, retail or sales experience is preferred. However, the position will be allocated on attitude, passion and personality, so previous customer service or sales experience is not paramount This is a very customer-centric role, so you’ll need to be confident and comfortable interacting with customers face to face. They are looking for individuals that will go above and beyond to deliver and who are determined to be the best.

- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
- Ability to solve problems, alleviate conflicts, and escalate tactfully
- Ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritise
- Ability to work individually and as a team member
