**The role**:
At our hotel, we’re looking for a team who are passionate about Cornwall and our local food and drink producers, and are eager to be a part of this county's incredible way of life. As a supervisory member of our team, you'll work alongside others who prioritise our guests and support each other.

We seek dynamic individuals who value positive lifestyle choices and excel as food and beverage all-rounders for our new restaurant concept at Watergate Bay Hotel. Zacry's On The Sea Wall will be an evening dining experience of distinction, a restaurant where sustainability, local produce and wherever possible - craftmanship, come together. The service style will be embodied by a highly professional, knowledgeable team, working together from an open kitchen, in an intimate dining room, right on the beach and delivering a world class experience

**What your days could look like**:

- Help assist with all beverage ordering, and deliveries to ensure good stock control, mínimal wastage and that all budgeted GP’s are met.
- You’ll need to have a thorough knowledge of our menus
- Help ensure the continued smooth running of the restaurant
- Deputise for the general restaurant manager, when required
- Work with the head chef and general restaurant manager to improve all aspects of our food service
- Assist in the ongoing training, development and performance management of a large team
- Handle guest complaints, requests and enquiries in a relaxed yet professional manner
- Help create a safe environment for both team and guests and adhere to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures

**Job skills & requirements**:

- A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory position within a restaurant environment
- A good knowledge of customer care/ complaint handling
- Sound product knowledge of food and drink
- A friendly and outgoing personality
- A passion for proving the best customer service possible
- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to work in and manage a team
- Attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good leader/team motivator
- Decision maker
- Excellent communication skills
