We are currently recruiting for an Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator on a Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave for 6-12 months based at our Head Office in Lutterworth

As the Apprenticeship Coordinator reporting to the L&D Business Partner, you will be working in conjunction with the Learning & Development team, Head of Operational Excellence, Head of Haulage and appropriate SME Trainers to manage, lead and coordinate the Nationwide Platforms Apprenticeship Programmes from start to finish.

This role is offered as Hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 at home. Occasional travel is necessary to our depots but not frequent.

Responsibilities include:

- In line with the business, Trainers and Resourcing teams allocate the most suited locations.
- Work with all Trainers to ensure a seamless onboarding and induction process is in place for all Apprentices.
- Assist with Mentor selection and Mentor training.
- Support the Apprentice Mentors in the management of the Apprentices and escalate any issues that arise.
- To carry out regular reviews with Apprentices and line managers to ensure completion of the programme.
- Work alongside relevant training providers to ensure apprentice milestones are being met.
- Exploit and explore any other Apprenticeship Programmes across the business using your understanding of the apprenticeship levy.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment - managing own workload, reprioritising when required
- Proven track record of supporting and coordinating apprenticeship programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- KPI and results driven.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
