**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A OPERATIONAL FINANCE ASSISTANT AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK**
- What you'll be doing..._

Reporting to the Cluster Finance Business Partner, this is not your average finance role.

You will be directly impacting the day-to-day operation and improving business outcomes through coaching and mentoring the wider operational team. Looking at opportunities to streamline and improve business outcomes.
- Completing daily revenue analysis and reporting to the wider and reporting to the wider team.
- Completing daily audit of the business inline to company standards.
- Balancing of credit cards and payments
- Completing purchase ledger via our Procurement system al within the month end deadlines
- Verifying all credit card refunds and backup.
- Reconcile FB till systems and maintain reporting information.
- Reconcile Leisure systems and maintain leisure tracker.
- Assist team with month end process
- Adhoc finance duties including reconcilation of petty cash.

To succeed in the role of Operational Finance Assistant, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Timeliness and accuracy in recording and reporting.
- High degree in numerical literacy with attention to details.
- Good communication skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
- Ability to follow closely processess and procedures.
- Preferred experience of hotel operations within a simalar role.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Office Programs.
