**About the role**

This is a new role in the Reward team and it is pivotal within the function, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with Senior Leaders and key stakeholders. It’s designed to drive the development and execution of innovative reward strategies, which are critical to our overarching business strategy. By ensuring we have robust reward systems in place, we’re not just supporting our current objectives but also laying the groundwork for future success. This position is instrumental in aligning our reward mechanisms with the YBS’s future goals, thereby attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent essential for our continued growth and competitive edge. It encompasses various aspects, including:

- Developing innovative new strategies and processes in our executive reward journey.
- Enhancing the colleague journey through comprehensive insights and market knowledge to improve internal process and ways of working, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, and best practice.
- Producing papers for the Remuneration Committee, liaising with external RemCo advisors and other stakeholders where relevant.
- Offering expert guidance on insight, guidance and recommendations to the Executive Team on a wide range of reward topics.
- Leading the delivery of accurate and timely regulatory reporting submissions for the Society.
