The successful MIS Administrator will have experience of working as part of a busy team to process and maintain accurate learner records and will have a strong C.V. that demonstrates excellent organisational, administration and communication skills.

You will hold 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Mathematics and ICT at level 2 as a minimum.

The MIS Administrator will need very good ICT skills and be an excellent communicator with all people and at all levels; the role requires you to deal with learners, parents, employers and both internal and external customers.

You will be an excellent team player that will work with, and support colleagues to achieve business targets, and have the ability to use own initiative to carry out tasks following agreed protocols.

Positive representation and promotion of the business is expected at all times.

The successful applicant must hold a full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle for business use is essential.

**The Role**

The role of MIS Administrator is to support the business by providing accurate data entry of learner details to create funding records that are maintained with a high level of accuracy and with attention to detail. A high level of integrity is essential.

A flexible approach is required along with a willingness to work outside of normal hours to meet the demands of the business is highly advantageous.

Excellent communication skills are required so that you can work in harmony with the MIS team and across other departments to ensure business priorities are met.

You will be competent in using a database system and Microsoft Office to be able to produce meaningful reports that can be distributed across the organisation.

The MIS Administrator is expected to work using their own initiative and progress a series of activities in a logical manner within recognised guidelines and will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation is accurately completed and meets the requirements for funding.

It is expected that the MIS Administrator will undergo a significant period of training to support their effectiveness to meet role related targets, understanding of the organisation and measures in place to maintain contract compliance.

A good understanding and awareness of MIS systems and their use in post-16 education and training is highly desirable. The MIS Administrator will be willing to carry out other duties as may be reasonably directed by line manager or management team and attend any training or meetings as required.
