**Salary: £24,138 annually pro rata**

**Holiday**: 28 days per year plus bank holidays pro rata

**Contract: 3 days per week - 21 hours per week - This is a temporary post until the 31stof December 2023 with the possibility of extension.**

Context: DCRS offers asylum seekers and refugee Service Users specialist support and advice to claim asylum and understand their rights. We also provide wellbeing support such as an activities program and English Language classes, and work closely with other agencies to promote independence, prevent destitution and encourage integration.

Role: Overall day-to-day responsibility for financial and management accounting and business administration. Control of daily financial administration and budget management in line with policies and procedures. All office and admin tasks to ensure correct running of the office. Assisting the CEO with other duties as required.

**Main function and duties of the job**

Overall day-to-day responsibility for financial and management accounting

Managing relationships with suppliers and day to day office administration

Control daily financial administration in line with policies and procedures

All office and admin tasks to ensure correct running of the office

Control of budget management supporting the CEO

**Duties to Include**

Financial Accounting:

- Ensure that day to day financial administration is controlled in line with budgets, policies, and procedures.
- Enter financial data into accounts system against fund allocations
- Set up and administer the allocation of expense against restricted grants
- Administer banking, petty cash and banking reconciliation
- Administer supplier expenses and payments in line with budgets
- Day to day administration in support of the CEO
- Accurate control of budgets, cash flow, reports and financial accounts

Management Accounting:

- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Provide reports as required to Trustees and CEO
- Provide clear interpretations of financial and management data
- Ensure statutory, reporting and audit requirements are met
- Extensive use of MS Office 365 including Excel

Office Administration:

- Day to day administration of office procedures and supplies
- Administration of supplier accounts, relationships and contracts
- Supervision of office equipment and stationery items
- Administration of Health and Safety requirements supporting the CEO
