**Job Purpose**

Responsible to the Head of Provision, the North Hill Administrator works as part of a small team of teachers and teaching assistants at the ACE Schools North Hill site for pupils with complex needs including social and emotional difficulties, with at times challenging behaviour to ensure the smooth running of the base covering all administration and some reception and compliance duties.

**General Duties**
- School Administration - Supporting the efficient running of the school base by providing administrative support for the Head of Provision, Lead Teacher and Pastoral staff including, review day and other letters, filing, shredding and data entry, answering routine telephone calls and face to face enquiries, being the first point of contact for visitors and deliveries, helping the base staff with general HR queries, printing and resources.
- Estates Compliance Support
- managing the administration of health and safety and building matters to include reporting repairs, arranging for routine compliance checks to be completed, programming new ID cards, point of contact for caretaker and contractors, management of online compliance logs, first aid stock, Compliance posters on site
- Financial/Purchasing administration - processing orders and invoices using the school online financial systems, managing goods receipts, liaising with the Trust finance team.

**Desired Skills**

The person should have excellent communication skills and attention to detail as the area administrator will be the main contact point between the site and the Trust Estates team. They will need to be able to manage their time effectively and manage staff, contractors and issues remotely at times.

**ualifications**
- GCSEs Grade A* - C or equivalent in English and maths.
- NVQ3 (or equivalent) in Business and Administration (desirable)

**Experience & Knowledge**
- Experienced school administrator preferred
- Excellent “public face” focus
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Well organised, with ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team and to work on own initiative
- Cooperative and willing to assist others.
- Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
- Proven experience of working within a busy administration function with a complex and diverse workload and tight deadlines.
- Experience of managing own diary, setting priorities and organising workloads.
- Experience of health & safety, compliance or premises management
- Experience of IT systems such as Office 365, Teams, MIS
- Experience of working with basic financial systems and procedures
