Diagnostic Appointment Administrator

To provide full appointment booking service and to organise reception desks ensuring all radiology desks are run efficiently in accordance with department protocols. Post holder must focus on the needs of the patient in accordance with the department and national booking programme. Post holder must have full working knowledge and understanding of radiology investigations, information systems and booking protocols.
Applications are invited for a Diagnostic Appointment Administrator in Main Radiology based at Denmark Hill.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious administrator to join a department that is undergoing exciting developments. The successful applicant will be expected to have experience in working within a busy hospital service or equivalent setting. Experience of a busy outpatient service would be preferable.

Post holder will participate in the rotation through six radiology reception desks. When working in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, x-ray 1, and X-ray 2 post holder will be responsible to the area Superintendent on a day-to-day basis. Post holder will be expected to undertake additional clerical duties pertaining to specific area. When working in x-ray 2 post holder will be responsible to the Radiology Office Manager and will be expected to liaise with the Lead Superintendent Radiographer.
Post holder will participate in two shift patterns 8.00am - 4.30pm and 8.45-5.15pm.
