Respected City-based Banking Group wishes to identify a Deputy Head for their Human Resources function who will proactively support the Head in advising upon and developing all HR policies for locally recruited staff in their London, EMEA and Asset Managementbusiness whilst embedding further and ongoing efficiencies in the effective systems and controls for HR management.
Working as part of an established and professionally adept team, key responsibilities will include the following:

- Advise line managers on employment law, HR policies, and on “best practices” across the business.
- Support the Assistant Manager responsible for recruitment processes (e.g. advertising, liaison with employment agencies, head-hunting), in selection decisions, and for the contracts of employment documentation.
- Work with the Training Coordinator to identify training needs and to assist in furthering the success of the Training Framework.
- Consistently improve the employee benefits, dealing with external suppliers and internal stakeholders and internally the creation of management information required to do so.
- Advising on Sponsorship registration and information security of staff personal data, tax and employee relations issues.
