The Head of HR will play a crucial role in guiding the organisation through an organisational restructure, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining an engaging and productive work environment.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Organisational Restructure: Lead and manage organisational change initiatives to ensure they are delivered effectively, minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy. Provide strategic leadership in planning and executing workforce management, culture development, and organizational design.
  • Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition efforts to ensure we attract, hire, and retain top talent. Develop comprehensive talent management strategies that encompass recruitment, development, and retention.
  • Performance Management: Design and oversee performance management systems that support employee development, high performance, and recognition. Ensure fair and objective evaluation processes are in place.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Create competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain employees. Regularly benchmark company practices against industry standards.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Promote a positive work environment and culture that supports open communication and high employee engagement.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and create development programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills to achieve their potential and support company goals.
  • HR Operations: Oversee HR operations and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance. Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a respectful and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and can thrive.
  • Organizational Development: Analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all national, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
  • Change Management: Act as a change agent, guiding and managing organizational change to ensure projects and initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget.
  • Policy Development and Documentation: Develop and revise HR policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date, compliant, and align with company goals.


Qualifications and Experience

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources management, particularly in leading organisational change and restructuring efforts.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organisation development, employee relations, safety, and training.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team on HR matters.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record in aligning HR strategies with business goals.
  • Experience in handling grievances and conducting salary evaluations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
