Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is part of the National Health Service (NHS) and was formed in July 2010 with the integration of Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust with Croydon Community Health Services. Croydon Health Services provides integrated NHS services to care for people at home, in schools, and health clinics across the borough as well as at Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Deal with communications and ad hoc enquiries from staff and service users, members of the public, and a wide range of external organisations and professionals. Receiving and relaying general verbal/written messages and responding by supplying straightforward information and guidance or referring to the relevant member of the department or other Trust staff as necessary.
- Maintain and update mail-outs and labels for Trust and staff departments, advisory group members and voluntary and community organisations and organising electronic or paper mail-outs to such groups as required (typing, copying and posting etc.)
- Monitor stock levels and re-order stationery and office supplies as required, and non-stock items as necessary.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills

- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous NHS experience
- Previous admin experience
