As we continue to grow, we require a HR Administrator, to become a trusted member of our family-owned business.

**Overview**

As HR Administrator, you will be instrumental in the smooth day to day running of employee related administration, working with management to provide a high level of support across the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, absence management, learning and development, performance management, and HR reporting (assisted by our external HR Consultants).

We have a small core office team; you will get the opportunity to work in a lot of different areas of HR.

**Required experience**
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Previous operational HR and recruitment administration experience essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident in building, developing, and maintaining supportive and constructive working relationships.
- Trustworthy, with the ability to remain discrete and confidential with employee and business information and data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree preferred and or / CIPD Level 3 qualified.

**Key responsibilities of the HR Administrator**
- Supporting management across all aspects of HR & recruitment administration and support for the business
- Assist with recruitment activities, by posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the hiring process including preparation of employment contracts.
- Offering timely and professional HR support in line with best practice (escalating where necessary in conjunction with our external HR Advisers)
- Managing employee HR files, ensuring all information is recorded and stored accurately in both the employee files in line with GDPR guidelines.
- Taking ownership of HR administration processes such as onboarding new employees, probation management, leavers.
- Respond to standard employee enquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee relations initiatives by assisting with grievance and disciplinary meetings.
- Drafting and issuing highly accurate HR documentation
- Understanding of and compliance with all key HR policies and procedures across the business
- Working closely with management on HR projects and initiatives

**Other responsibilities**
- If also have current Sage payroll experience, there is an opportunity to incorporate this aspect into the role, please do let us know if you have this experience.
