About the role

**Some of the main duties of the role will be**:
Working with people in an open way to encourage the creation of a caring, but structured environment in which people feel free to explore their own difficulties.

Co-ordinating support to customers with possible wide-ranging complex needs with emphasis upon issues of: lack of lifestyle skills (budgeting, cooking, hygiene, renting etc.) family/relationship breakdown and/or financial hardship.

To work closely with the Tenancy Support & Safeguarding manager to maintain a cohesive and consistent approach to providing support to tenants.

To identify customer’s needs and develop a support plan (with other agencies) that will enable customers to exit the service within a realistic timeframe.

To carry out full financial assessment detailing income and expenditure, developing a plan to reduce their outgoings and to identify where savings could be made. With the aim of improving their ability to meet their primary debts and their rental payments with the Association.
