**Summary**

Environmental Energies Ltd are looking to recruit a Procurement Officer/Buyer to the team. The role will be based at our offices in Market Harborough. Applicants should have 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role and preferably with experience of procurement with a strong solar or electrical bias.

**The Role**

To take responsibility, ownership and accountability for the successful management and control all aspects of the procurement of equipment for both residential and commercial projects, in order to control and maximise the company’s profitability. In addition, ensuring cost reports and the like are managed, completed on time and monitored.

**The role will include the following but is not exhaustive**:

- Order equipment for each project
- Check that best prices are achieved for equipment purchased
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Liaising with the project team to ensure equipment is ordered on time and delivered to the correct locations. i.e. to site or our unit
- Nurture good relationships with suppliers
- Control and manage equipment pricing for projects
- Estimate costs and time scales for materials
- Control all expenditure on projects
- To assist the Project Team with pre-start planning and programming
- Completing a weekly/monthly cost report for the designated projects
- Attend project and company related meetings
- Identify and weighing up commercial risk
- Manage project budgets and report to sales and project teams
- Submit regular budget reports for projects
- Use company CRM - SalesForce
- Organise folders for each job to make sure everything is updated with latest budgets and costs
- Excellent understanding of Excel
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong level of IT skills
- Excellent time management

**Salary**: £25-35K depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
