LawSure is a leading independent legal insurance broker specialising in providing bespoke insurance solutions to solicitors and their clients, insuring £3 Billion of property transactions in 2021 alone. LawSure is based in Horsham, West Sussex.

As an Assistant Broker, you will be working as part of our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Broking, you would assist the broking team in the delivery of excellent customer service to our clients. The role will include some broking of legal insurance risks, invoicing, data entry, reconciliation of premiums received, policy fulfilment, communication with clients and insurers both written and on the phone/face to face.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, highly motivated, numerate, organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and who can demonstrate they understand the nature of insurance. An interest in law would be desirable.

This position would suit someone looking for an entry level job or someone looking to change career paths.

Further requirements for this position include:

- High level of literacy and numerical skills
- Computer literate including knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator, including on the telephone
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative and adapt to situations as necessary
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, presentable and approachable
- An interest in insurance and/or law

Pay: From £23,400.00 per year
