Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a key member of our commercial insurance business, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and support to our clients and brokers.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date, and developing strong relationships with brokers and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • You will work closely with underwriters and other stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions for insurance policies, keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and changes in the insurance market to provide proactive advice to clients.
  • Responsibilities include handling inquiries, claims, and other client requests in a timely and professional manner, as well as contributing to the growth of the business through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, with a strong understanding of the brokerage environment.
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using insurance management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as ACII or equivalent would be advantageous.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, based on your location in Horsham and industry standards. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role within our business.
