Are you a Marketing Executive looking for a new challenge?

We’re looking for a dynamic individual for an incredible new opportunity working for BSI, the UK’s Standards Organisation.

The role would be working within a dedicated team of 3 people working to increase the awareness and understanding of standardization as well as increasing market understanding of BSI’s role and the UK Standards Organization.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on global marketing campaigns as well as several exciting new projects.

Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Marketing Manager to develop content including articles, videos, white papers, reports, and case studies as well as other marketing activities including events, website development, and exhibitions- Work closely with internal stakeholders primarily in the Standards Policy department to agree on a yearly marketing plan of key areas of focus and campaigns with the Senior Marketing Manager- Plan and prioritize effective campaigns to promote selected events ensuring the right calibre and number of attendees.- Utilize the full marketing mix e.g., digital marketing (push/pull activities), social media, website, PPC, content marketing, direct mail, trade press, PR, and advertising- Manage the campaign schedule for agreed marketing activity to ensure that campaigns are executed at the agreed time and that they maximize the impact- Work with the Senior Marketing Manager and internal stakeholders to ensure that key information is identified and provided at an appropriate time to conduct effective campaigns e.g., target audience, message development, and value proposition- Work with the full marketing mix to engage with committee members in order to retain them as well as provide marketing support for the acquisition of new members.-
- Communicate outcomes of campaigns and trends within marketing channels to internal stakeholders in the Standards Policy team and to the wider marketing and sales team

What we are looking for

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Strong experience, executing campaigns in a similar marcomms role- Strong time management and the ability to develop working relationships with colleagues- Proactive and results orientated, with the ability to balance multiple projects and spontaneous marketing opportunities that may arise- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written- Be able to develop and maintain excellent personal relationships with other internal business and external suppliers-
- Experience in using web CMS systems- IT literate, (competent in the use of MS Office, and media map tools)- Experience with the full range of marketing channels
