**PERSONNEL SECURITY TEAM MEMBER - (Inside IR35)**

**Contract Term: 12 Months**

**Contracting Authority: Sellafield**

**Location: Cumbria - Full time in the office Monday - Friday**

**As a Personnel Security Team Member your main responsibilities will be**:

- Give direct support to the Sellafield Pass Office team leader or Vetting Team Leader.
- Provision of a professional vetting process service in line with ONR Regulatory requirements or a professional pass issue service to both internal and external customers to the Sellafield Site.
- Carry out all designated work packages ensuring they meet the required standards of safety, cost, time and quality.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders in order to support the vetting or pass issue process, providing advice and guidance, taking corrective advice to address routine issues and escalating more complex problems to more senior colleagues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Create NSVS accounts and monitor activity to ensure timely completion by the applicant, offering support and guidance where required to individuals, line managers and points of contact with customers and suppliers.
- Takes accountability to sign off vetting packs on behalf of ONR to confirm that all relevant verifications checks have been carried out and the ONR vetting standards is met, providing justification for where vetting cannot be progressed
- To contribute to the improvement of a safe environment/good housekeeping of the working area.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Demonstrable communication and inter-personal skills
- Demonstrable clerical and administrative skills.
- Evidence of high integrity and discretion.
- Demonstrable computer literacy.
- Evidence of effective team working capability.
- Computer literate.
- Background in Customer service/Customer Care/ Retailers/ Hotels would be beneficial.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of OPMS
- Previous security related experience
- Experience of working in a heavily regulated environment
- Good understanding of Data Protection requirements
