The Customer Service & Export Supervisor is the primary contact for customers, responsible for ensuring the end-to-end order process is completed. You will also provide support for UK & International Customer Service Manager, managing team workload, driving operational and process efficiency improvements, escalating internal and external customer issues, and developing training for current UK & Export Coordinators and new recruits.
What you’ll be doing UK
- As the customer services supervisor for UK and Export you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless export process and superior customer experience.
- You will supervise a team of skilled customer coordinators, overseeing export documentation, coordinating logistics, and maintaining strong relationships with our global stakeholders.
- Provide backfill for Team Manager during absence
- Provide cover and always volunteer to assist team members to share workload
- Manage any cover required for UK & Export teams
- Train current UK & Export Coordinators and new recruits in Customer Service working processes
- Work collaboratively with Customer Service Management to effectively manage working processes and day to day activities.
- Develop strong working relationships with external customers both UK & Internationally
- Responsible for managing workload and team priorities
- Responsible for documentation relating to working processes and training
- Maintain the company’s AX database and keep customer details up to date where applicable
- Handle complaints in accordance with company procedures and implement preventative actions
- Carry out general administration/office duties, and produce routine and ad hoc reports as required
- Manage holidays and suitable cover to ensure business continuity
What you’ll bring
- A passion for ensuring a team pulls and works together
- Export experience is a must
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office
- Detail-orientated, organised, and adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Driven by a desire to make a difference, willingness to constantly challenge yourself to improve every day, and celebrate success - for yourself or others
