**The Role**
As our Head of Fundraising and Engagement, you will lead all aspects of our fundraising and engagement activity.
Working alongside the Chief Executive Officer, you will oversee income generation through trusts, corporate partnerships, major donors, events and individual and regular giving.
You will also develop, implement, monitor and evaluate our communications strategy, including a digital strategy, overseeing the management and content of our website, social media accounts and other digital communication channels.
Additionally, you will develop, coach, inspire and motivate the fundraising and communications team, directly line managing our Community Fundraiser, Marketing and Communications Officer and Volunteer Co-ordinator.
Your role will also involve:
- Developing our volunteer network and community fundraising
- Planning, budgeting and forecasting income
- Managing and developing our individual giving programme
- Developing relationships with donors, supporters and partner organisations
- Managing centrally run events, community events and corporate fundraising activity
**About You**
To be considered as our Head of Fundraising and Engagement, you will need:
- Experience in a fundraising and communications role for a charity or voluntary organisation or equivalent
- Experience managing a team
- To be an excellent communicator who can work on their own initiative, manage their own time and demonstrate superb attention to detail
