Cowdenbeath, United Kingdom CareClan Full time

**Bring joy and comfort: Become a Mental Health Support Worker**

Make a real difference in a unique, 1-to-1 mental health support role that goes beyond traditional care.

You’ll work with a dedicated team, supporting five amazing ladies who are actively involved in their own care. Shifts are from 7:45 am to 8 pm, with rotas done in advance, offering flexibility with a full-time contract and part-time options. You'll work three long days a week, including one weekend every second week. Your resilience and confidence will help ease their initial anxieties. Providing emotional support and having an upbeat, engaging attitude is crucial in contributing positively to their mental health journey.

In this role, you’ll assist with medication, household tasks like cooking and cleaning, and provide companionship through activities such as bingo and social club visits. You’ll be prompting for personal care rather than performing it yourself, focusing on promoting independence and mental well-being. If you’re a driver, you can also help with transportation, enhancing the ladies’ community engagement. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training and continuous support from our strong team and management.
