Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for an Affiliate Executive to join our Midway UK Ecommerce team. This role will be based at our London office.
**The role will include the below tasks and responsibilities.**
DELIVERS: Support the day to day running, optimisation and delivery of our in-house affiliate programme across our UK brands, alongside our UK Affiliate Manager. Supporting relationship building with key regional affiliate partners.
METRIC OF SUCCESS: Delivery of key placements, exposure and campaigns across the brand portfolio effectively driving traffic, revenue, and ROI goals.
HOW? Implementation and optimisation of affiliate programme and campaigns.
**KEY OBJECTIVES**:
- Responsible for day to day running, optimisation and delivery of our in-house affiliate programme, increasing our brand’s exposure by driving traffic, revenue and ROI.
- Day to day management of the affiliate network, from identifying and recruiting new partners, updating commission levels, KPI analysis and supporting campaigns and tracking.
- Deliver and support key brand moments and campaigns, by setting up and managing partner placements through our affiliate programme.
- Support the UK Affiliate Manager to develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key partners.
- Own and deliver the affiliate briefing process with our internal marketing team ensuring both quantity and quality of both placements and campaigns are delivered.
- Deliver weekly reporting across our affiliate programme identifying KPIs and providing insights to help drive optimum performance and ROI.
- Work collaboratively with our network to ensure a best-in-class affiliate programme
Regularly complete competitor analysis, communicate and share best practice ensuring this is always adhered to.
**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**:
- It’s essential this role acts as part of the regional trading team, they will work closely with our Ecommerce, Marketing, and trade teams to ensure appropriate planning/sharing of best practise/being on hand to answer any questions, where required.
- This role will also work closely with the paid media executive, and the ecommerce optimisation managers to ensure campaigns are co-ordinated and have maximum performance impact.
- Close working relationship with affiliate executives in other markets to ensure shared learnings and best in class affiliate strategy.
**REPORTING**:
Weekly reporting will be required to continually track performance against target for all channels. They will partner with key attraction Stakeholders on a local basis specifically the local marketing teams to deliver a cohesive solution in line with requirements.
**We are looking for the following skills and experience**
ESSENTIAL:
- Working knowledge of Affiliate networks ideally Partnerize.
- Hands on experience of running affiliate accounts and campaigns.
- Proficient use of Excel to create and update reports and work with large data sets to draw insight from.
- Be an excellent communicator, influencer and relationship builder.
- Passionate and driven individual, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for digital.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and hit the ground running within a hands on role.
