**Location**: Primary base - Sandal Castle Medical Centre, WF2 7JE. With a requirement to work flexibly to cover the responsibilities from any suitable venue including working from home.

**Salary**: £22,500 to £24,500 per annum

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Contract Length**: permanent

**JOB PURPOSE**

Your main area of responsibility will be to provide efficient, effective all round administrative support to the HR function under the guidance of the HR Officer. This role has a wide remit which includes input to all HR admin and is an important support role to the business.

In your role as HR Administrator you will act as a liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth running of our processes with a prompt resolution. You will need to be passionate, conscientious, great communicator with a ‘can do’ approach. It is a fast-paced environment and you will need to be able to turn your hand to anything administrative. You will be someone who always looks to improve systems and processes. If this sounds like you, this role might be just for you. Conexus Healthcare CIC is the Confederation for general practice in Wakefield, we have four areas of work.

1. _Delivery of high-quality public facing Health and Wellbeing services across the Wakefield District:_ We develop, manage and deliver health and care services that support the population of the whole Wakefield district.

2. _Delivery of Training, Development and Consultancy support across the United Kingdom:_ We design and deliver a range of training courses, development activity and provide advice and guidance that supports general practices and other primary care organisations.
- 3._ _Supporting Our Practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs): _We support general practices and PCNs across the Wakefield district to be more resilient, sustainable and deliver better patient care and care for the health needs of their populations.

4. _Providing a voice and influence for General Practice in the Health and Care System: _We provide a forum to develop a unified voice for General Practice and support general practices to cooperate and work collaboratively with the wider health and care sector partners in the district.

Built within general practice, for general practice, Conexus Healthcare works with local GPs, practices and Primary Care Networks to champion investment in and deliver effective primary care at scale. By connecting in this way, we are stronger, more resilient and can care more effectively for over 370,000 local people. As part of our updated strategy we are looking at innovative ways to develop our workforce and build a high-quality Human Resources (HR) administrative function within our corporate team through the establishment of this new role.

**Role Specific Responsibilities**

To complete a range of transactional administration processes in support of the HR activity:

- Produce all HR correspondence and paperwork which includes, but is not limited to, offer letters, contracts of employment and associated pre-employment checks, changes to terms and conditions, maternity, paternity, sickness absence, flexible working requests, terminations, and resignations;
- Administration in support of absence recording, contractual amendments and monthly payroll submissions;
- Liaison with the relevant personnel regarding payroll documentation;
- Placing of advertisements on NHS Jobs and other recruitment platforms;
- Ensuring the new starter tracker is maintained with appropriate on-boarding information;
- Support colleagues with HR queries and ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner and respond to the needs of the business;
- Assisting managers with collating information on probationary reviews, annual appraisals, and training records and ensure they are recorded centrally on the HR system
- Maintaining employee records using our central HR system People HR;
- Maintaining and auditing employee training records using our training platform, Practice Index;
- Generating basic and standardised monthly HR reports that are required in the business regarding employee information.
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of staff induction sessions;
- Administrative support to carry out internal quality audits;
- Administrative support for all TUPE transfers of staff into or out of the business, such as sending letters, inputting data from due dili
