As a Barclays Deputy Head of Onboarding you will play a critical role in the success of the KYC (Know Your Customer) Onboarding team through solidand effective management & leadership and the provision of skilled technical and analytical support, enabling the business to meet the Onboarding requirements and protect the Banks license to trade. The role will be primarily focused on managing the scoping (collation of customer requirements) and end-to-end delivery of all on-boarding activity related to their aligned client group.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Leading, managing and motivating a high performing KYC team with a focus on high standards, quality, customer service, controls, execution and delivery
- Supporting Head of KYC in building a best in class ‘Go-To’ team for expertise and embed culture of ‘Right First Time’ across KYC
- Extensive SME experience of all Onboarding and KYC policies and procedures across the function
- Leading and implementing change initiatives for the team from inception through to implementation, providing input, guidance and where appropriate sign off
- Coordinating and leading detailed scoping sessions by conducting face to face meetings or conference calls to fully understand the client
- Overseeing the production and delivery of weekly progress reports containing performance against the current baseline
- Building intensive industry knowledge and leading on deal discussions, including potential client visits, engaging with internal relationship management teams

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience of AML/KYC gained within investment or corporate banking
- Experience of reviewing complex structures, PEPs and/or Sanctions screening
- Experience of using approved KYC vendor sources e.g. Dun and Bradstreet, Companies House, and others
- Legal knowledge in terms of corporate law and structure

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- AML /Compliance Certification
- Cash Management - Cert ICM
- Knowledge of High risk indicators and revision of complex structures and entity types

**Where will you be working?**
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
