Deputy Head of Education and Safeguarding

We are seeking a highly effective Deputy Head of Education and Safeguarding to join our leadership team at Kingsthorpe College. This role involves overseeing student behaviour, inclusion, attitudes, and attendance, as well as leading the development and implementation of our comprehensive CPD programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that pupils receive a world-class education, experiences, and outcomes, while also contributing to the growth and development of our trust. We require the successful applicant to undergo enhanced DBS clearance and appropriate checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of behaviour and attendance strategies
- Oversee the designated safeguarding lead
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the CPD programme
- Support the growth and development of the trust
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
