**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Cardiff or Reading - this is a hybrid role working a minimum two days a week from the office at one of the advertised locations.

**Salary**: £31,339 - £35,892 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

**What is the Role?**

As the Smart Resolution Specialist, you will provide complaint expertise to the Smart Metering Team to ensure delivery of KPI’s and service levels are met. Your responsibilities will include:

- Effective engagement with customers to resolve their complaints and concerns. You will respond professionally to complex and challenging issues raised by our external customers.
- Support the Smart Metering process by responding and resolving complex and non
- standard issues through independent investigation and analysis.
- Complete call monitoring to ensure we maintain excellent quality and customer experience.
- Support the leadership team with bespoke tasks, coordinating the workstreams of other team members.
- Stakeholder management with both internal and external customers.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Previous experience of working within a customer service environment, including complaint handling processes.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Experience of conflict resolution, stakeholder management and negotiating skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt approach to the situation.
- Ability to work on own using own initiative as well as with a wider team.
