Our client, a medium sized manufacturing business, are looking to recruit a well versed Customer Support Executive
**Role Overview**
To support the Team Leader in delivering the business strategy and KPI’s by appropriate means of administration, planning, coordinating activities, reporting and effective communication both internally and externally to drive business growth. Manage client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, through exceptional service delivery.
As Customer Support Executive, you will have the following duties:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and understanding of their business needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell products or services based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Monitor order progress and provide clients with regular updates on the status of their shipments.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Liaise with operations for raw material planning and scheduling, ensuring raw materials are pipelined to fulfil demand.
- Reconcile over manufacture into delivered stock where appropriate with the customer to reduce any risk of obsolescence.
- Raise and monitor new client artwork carrying out appropriate data checks before processing through the system.
- Manage trial orders to customer deadlines and coordinate trial activities with the internal departments and clients.
- Liaise with the Technical Team to fully understand client product specifications and production processes to fully support the client’s account.
- Address and resolve client complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner collaborating with the QHSE team as required.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, bi-annual client KPI’s and statistics as required.
- Co-ordinate sample preparation for presentation to clients as required.
- Prepare pricing for repeat orders / enquiries where necessary.
Attributes required, to perform the role of Customer Service Executive:
- Previous experience of a Customer Service environment (within Flexo Packaging preferable).
- Experience of working within a manufacturing sector.
- Able to influence and negotiate.
- Able to problem solve and work out solutions.
- Able to work to demanding deadlines.
- Well organised, able to plan and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accurate.
- Numerate, with the ability to compile detailed data.
- Customer focused, able to provide outstanding customer service.
- IT literate with the ability to generate detailed spread sheets, word, and PowerPoint documents.
- Team player with a positive mindset.
- Clean driving licence if required to visit customer on occasions (preferable).
This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work 08:45 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
In return you can expect a salary of £29k
